What Happens When You Finally Have Time, Money, and Options in Life?

I saw this on social media and it really made me think..

The way Doctors are perceived and how we see ourselves, are they aligned?

If you're a millennial like me, you might also have this outlook:

Go to school, work hard, go above and beyond for your employer, get a promotion, come home, sleep and repeat

It got me thinking about if being a doctor in 2024 really considered a job or a calling?

The senior doctors working 30 hours a day... (you read that right) have fat pensions, enjoyed free education, and low competition ratios

They found fulfilment from the status being a doctor conferred at the time (and at the very least were compensated for it financially)

Even if they didn't, a lot of them ended up with resentful children or broken relationships.. is it worth it?

This newsletter is your reminder that pursuing your happiness

is not selfish

In actual fact, the better YOU do,

The better you are able to show up for others.. there is a positive ripple effect on those around you when you life a fulfilled life

Love your neighbour as yourself.. but if you don't love yourself how can you love your neighbour?

In medicine, we internalise a culture of hierarchy, guilt (how hard is it to call in sick..) and thinking linearly.

Thinking within the box isn’t going to get us the work-life balance we all deep down crave

We need to smash the box open! It’s ok to build the life you want, but it WILL take doing things differently.

I will be holding a workshop to help you take the first step on December 3rd, 2024 Designed for doctors but open to all work-life balance seekers.

The truth is, you don't need more time, you just need to decide and I have become an expert in facilitating decision making, so let's go

Deciding whats best for you

Which of these three are most meaningful to YOU?

As soon as I realised that the sacrifices I was making were unsustainable

I decided on change. I couldn't just keep pushing through, sacrificing my life along the way.. I thought 20-55 is the prime of life, I need to use it wisely.

Initially it wasn’t easy, but after committing to a new way of thinking. Designing a career in medicine that provided freedom, balance, and purpose became so simple

The result? I now coach other doctors on how to make these same changes in their own lives—while staying in the field they love (or not)

Your career should serve your life—not the other way around

Through focused coaching, I help doctors like you create individualised roadmaps to freedom, fulfilment, and balanced success.

Together, we can:

  • Break free from linear thinking and explore creative, practical solutions to fit your career and financial goals
  • Generate alternative sources of Income
  • Overcome guilt and develop your unique offering
